"Under the Trans Umbrella: Trans Identities in Missouri" is a documentary focusing on the experience of transgender people in the state of Missouri. With the changing tides due to anti-LGBTQ+ bills surfacing across the country, Missouri is one of the more hostile states in terms of legislation against trans people. This documentary tells the story of the individuals affected.
This documentary won a Silver Telly Award in the 45th annual awards , and it has aired twice on KMOS-TV.
This documentary was also selected to feature in the Direct Monthly Online Film Festival (DMOFF), December 2023 edition. It also won the Best Documentary and Best Director awards for this month.
KC PRide 2023
The KC Pride Fest is an annual event organized by the KC Pride Alliance to celebrate pride month and bring members of the LGBTQIA+ community together. This video highlights the excitement of the event and the opportunities it provides for members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
I was the Director and Producer. Camera work was done by Leilani Craig, Thomas Delzeit, and myself. Graphics were done by Thomas Delzeit. It was edited primarily by myself, as well as assisted by Leilani Craig.

Focus On is a series produced through KMOS that looks at the people and places in central Missouri. Featuring stories about small business', restaurants, organizations and culture that make this area unique.
Meyer’s Market is a local general store in Warrensburg, MO with a selection of products ranging from ice cream to home goods, this establishment has been created with the goal of bringing everyday items to the community and providing opportunities to small businesses.

Peculiar Games & Hobbies is a game store located in Peculiar, MO. With a wide selection of games, puzzles, and local artists’ works to choose from, the tabletop game room allows for players to come from all over to connect in one space.

The Zone Tattoo and Body Piercing is a body modification establishment located in Warrensburg, MO. They value safety, cleanliness, and comfortability for all. In addition, the owner was the first APP certified piercer in Missouri.
I was the producer for this project.
Mule Kicker BBQ is a local barbecue restaurant in Warrensburg, MO with a selection of Texas barbecue inspired foods. They offer beef, turkey, ribs, handmade from scratch sides and much more. This restaurant has the goal of serving the best barbecue in all of Warrensburg, and supporting the Warrensburg community.

Cancer Perks is a 501C3 non-profit based in Sedalia, MO with a mission of helping those who have been diagnosed with cancer by providing support, various resources, and hosting events to get the community together.

Jammin’ Nuggets Music is a locally owned and operated record store that sells records, CDs, cassettes, and 45s in Sedalia, MO. They place an importance on the love of music and brining more people into the vinyl collecting community.

KC Pride Fest is an annual event organized by the Kansas City Pride Community Alliance. This event brings the community together for a celebration of diversity, inclusion, and acceptance. Thousands of people from the KC metropolitan area and beyond attend the festival every year. The celebration of pride month continues throughout the entire month of June.
